Billy Gibbons Spices-Up SXSW

Fans at the annual SouthXSouthwest festival in Austin, TX that dropped in on a set by the New York band The Cringe were all grins when Billy Gibbons joined the group on stage.  The ZZ Top guitarist made his entrance cranking out his signature low-down, dirty riffs on a version of Dust My Broom, immediately drawing the attention of those otherwise occupied during a free showcase event at the fabled Stubbs BBQ Saturday (3/19).  The long-bearded guitarist put in a non-musical appearance the night before when he joined TV cooking host Rachel Ray at Feedback, a free food sampling session, where Gibbons passed out bottle of  BFG 44, a hot sauce bearing his endorsement and includes the instruction 'Have Mercy. Shake Well'.
