Harp Legend Norton Buffalo Dies

We learned a few weeks ago that Norton Buffalo was battling lung cancer.  Friday afternoon (10/30) the harmonica great lost that fight after having gone into a coma the night before. A regular in the studio and on tour with the Steve Miller Band, Buffalo had a resume that included  contributions to nearly a dozen Steve Miller albums, several Doobie Brothers releases and projects by Bonnie Raitt, America, Elvin Bishop, Bob Welch of Fleetwood Mac, Johnny Cash and dozens of other artists.  Buffalo also put out several albums of his own that showcased his talent as a harp player, along with his chops on organ, percussion and even trombone.
